Malaysia
Airlines, the national carrier, currently flies to 95 destinations
worldwide. Many other international airlines offer flights to
Malaysia, most of which land at the Kuala Lumpur International
Airport (KLIA) at Sepang, located some 70 kilometers to the
south-west of Kuala Lumpur. There are a lot of transportation
available between KLIA and Kuala Lumpur, one of which is the KL
Express speed train which takes around 28 minutes one way from KLIA
to the city centre at the KL Sentral Station.
The second
busiest international airport in Malaysia is the Kota Kinabalu
International Airport (KKIA) where there are international
connecting flights from Brunei, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong,
Taiwan, Philippines, Korea and Japan.
