Farida’s Bed & Breakfast is a 6-room lodging facility wholly managed by Home Away From Home Sdn Bhd, a tour and travel operator company based in the city of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. The Host of Farida's B&B is Faridah Abdul Rahman, who is also the managing director of Home Away From Home Sdn Bhd. 

Located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood of Kampong Likas, off main Kota-Kinabalu ~ Tuaran Road about 6 km from the City centre, it is ideal for group travellers, tourists, students, scientists, soft adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. It is within walking distance from bus stops and public transport routes, and from provision shops and eating places.

Kampong Likas, a popular residential area in the suburbs of Kota Kinabalu has a natural village or "kampong" environment. We had guests from UK, Germany, Denmark, Japan, Singapore, Australia and other parts of the world who have described Farida's B&B to have a warm, friendly, comfortable, pleasant atmosphere and indeed at a homely location. How to get to Farida’s B&B once you reach Kota Kinabalu? 

From Kota Kinabalu city, take the bus from the wawasan plaza bus station which goes to LIKAS. Once in Kampung Likas area, stop at the junction in front of S.K Likas primary school just before the Mosque in Kampong Likas. From there it is just a 5 minute walk. 

Or, along Jalan Tuaran (Tuaran Road) take any bus which goes to Inanam, Menggatal, Tuaran or Tamparuli. Stop in front of a SHELL station at Mile 4.5 where there is a junction to the left. 

Take a taxi, they know where we are or, once you arrive in Kota Kinabalu, simply call us at 428733 / 019-8993011 and ask for Sofie, the co-host or any Duty Staff. If there is a transportation available, we may be able to pick you up right away!! Faridah will also be around to assist you in your holiday needs and ofcourse to make you feel like at home away from home!
